Cristina Esteban i Arnau

Commercial and civil law

Cristina is a graduate with a master's degree in Business Law from Ramon Llull University. She began her professional career at Garrigues Lawyers and Tax Advisors in 2000 and co-founded what is now CADAMA LEGAL in 2012.

Her professional practice focuses on judicial and extrajudicial advice in the area of civil and commercial law, as well as bankruptcy law.

In the contentious field, Cristina has extensive experience in legal direction of judicial and arbitration proceedings in civil and commercial matters. She habitually directs contentious proceedings before Courts and Tribunals or Arbitration Tribunals in various areas and matters of private law such as extra-contractual liability actions (professional, construction, medical, and damages in general), actions derived from the Capital Companies Law (challenging corporate agreements, actions of directors' liability, conflicts between partners), contractual liability (derived, among others, from construction contracts, distribution or agency contracts, supply contracts), unfair competition actions, publicity and intellectual property, or proceedings in matters of succession and inheritance.

Furthermore, throughout her professional career, she has been involved in bankruptcy proceedings, both in defending the bankrupt and in defending the interests of creditors.

Her experience with litigious conflicts allows her to develop planning strategies in the field of private law that substantially minimize conflict, as she can anticipate situations that usually involve litigation and confrontation.

In addition to her professional activity at Cadama Legal, Cristina is an academic collaborator at the Faculty of Law of Ramon Llull University, where she teaches the subject of civil and commercial litigation in the University Master's in Law.
